How do I use the trams?

There are two main ways for paying for a tram in Sydney. Either with an Opal Card (Sydney travel card) or any contactless card or device. You will need to tap on and tap off for each tram journey that you take.

Trams will stop at every tram stop so no need to press a button or flag them down.
