How do I use the Trams?

Trams have dedicated stops to board/disembark from. We recommend downloading the Våsttrafik To Go app to purchase and keep track of tickets. Tickets are done by zone and time rather than stop-stop. 

You pay for a ticket which will cover the desired zones you want to travel in and you will either have 90 or 180 minutes of use with the ticket - meaning unlimited travel on trams during that time. Zone A covers the majority of Gothenburg but for reference, you can see the zone map by visiting this website.

You can also the exact stops you want to travel to and from to know for sure the exact zones you will be travelling on.
